President Aliyev Hails Khankendi Sewing Factory as a Symbol of Uzbek-Azerbaijani Friendship

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has highlighted that the Khankendi sewing factory represents a significant gesture of friendship from the brotherly Uzbek people, contributing to the revival and economic development of the Karabakh region.

“The large sewing factory, established on the initiative of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, currently employs over two hundred people, the vast majority of whom are women. As a result of the factory’s expansion, the number of employees will increase several times,” President Aliyev said during a press conference on the outcomes of the high-level meeting among Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

“This is a great gift from the brotherly Uzbek people to Azerbaijan and the reviving Karabakh region,” the head of state emphasized.
