Another shipment of Russian wheat is set to reach Armenia in transit through Azerbaijan, marking the latest movement of agricultural goods along the route.

Six railway wagons carrying a total of 420 tons of wheat and four wagons loaded with 280 tons of barley will depart from Balajari station of Azerbaijan Railways toward the Boyuk-Kasik station, according to Report.

The latest shipment adds to a growing volume of goods transported from Russia to Armenia through Azerbaijan. Previously, more than 54,000 tons of grain, around 9,000 tons of fertilizers, 1,414 tons of propane, 133 tons of aluminum, 1,114 tons of coal and 334 tons of timber were shipped along the transit route.

Azerbaijan has also exported petroleum products to Armenia, including around 15,000 tons of diesel fuel and approximately 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline.
