On 4-5 May, the EU High Representative/Vice-President (HR/VP) Kaja Kallas is visiting Armenia and Azerbaijan.
On 4 May, Kallas will attend the meeting of the European Political Community (EPC), in Yerevan, Armenia, The Caspian Post reports via European Union External Action.
Press remarks are expected upon her arrival. The EPC meeting will be followed by the first-ever EU-Armenia Summit. Kallas will join a meeting of leaders hosted by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, with the participation of President of the European Council António Costa and President of the of the European Union Ursula von der Leyen.
On 5 May, Kallas will join the EU-Armenia Summit at leaders’ level.
On the same day, Kallas will travel to Azerbaijan. Kallas will hold a series of bilateral meetings at political level, including with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov.
