Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has departed for Azerbaijan to take part in events marking the sixth anniversary of the country's victory in the 2020 Karabakh War.
Erdogan is accompanied on the visit by his wife, Emine Erdogan, Hürriyet reports.
Azerbaijan celebrates Victory Day annually on November 8, commemorating the liberation of Shusha in 2020, which became a turning point in the 44-day war.
The victory brought an end to nearly three decades of Armenian occupation of Azerbaijani territories and marked a significant milestone in the country's modern history.
