Two servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army were injured on May 11 after hitting a landmine while carrying out official duties in the Kalbajar district.

The servicemen - Huseynov Mammad Alibaba oglu and Gaflanov Kamil Jamil oglu - were promptly evacuated to the nearest medical facility following the incident, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Defense Ministry.

Medical officials confirmed that both personnel received immediate first aid. Their condition is currently described as stable, and they continue to receive treatment at a military medical institution.

An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
