Travel between Azerbaijan and Slovakia is set to become easier as Wizz Air launches new direct flights connecting Baku and Bratislava.
Beginning on September 29, 2026, Europe's largest low-cost airline will operate regular nonstop flights on the Bratislava-Baku-Bratislava route, The Caspian Post reports via Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
The new service will operate twice a week, with flights scheduled every Tuesday and Saturday.
The launch of the route is expected to strengthen air connectivity between Azerbaijan and Slovakia, create new opportunities for tourism and business travel, and give passengers more convenient access to one of Central Europe's emerging destinations.
