Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who is on an official visit to Tbilisi, was hosted by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, according to the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
The sides discussed efforts aimed at the ongoing development of the strategic partnership between Armenia and Georgia, including the active political dialogue and the deepening of economic ties and interconnection, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.
In the context of promoting business cooperation, they underscored the importance of effectively utilizing the transit potential of the two countries.
Minister Mirzoyan presented the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, the issue of unblocking regional channels and the new opportunities arising from their implementation.
FM Mirzoyan expressed gratitude for Georgia's support for the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The sides also exchanged views on international developments and other issues of mutual interest.
