Georgian, Armenian Defense Officials Hold Talks

Executives from the Defense Institution Building School (DIBS) of the Georgian Ministry of Defense, along with the DIBS Defense and Security Strategic Interagency Senior Course cohort, visited Armenia.

The delegation was welcomed by the Deputy Director of the Department of Defense Policy and International Cooperation at the Armenian Ministry of Defense, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.

The guests were briefed on Armenia’s security environment and the main directions of armed forces transformation, after which discussions continued in a question-and-answer format, the ministry informed.

As part of the visit, the participants of the DIBS Defense and Security Strategic Interagency Senior Course also visited the National Defense Research University of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, where they discussed cooperation programs and future prospects between the two institutions.
