Expert: C6 at Forefront of Change in South Caucasus, Central Asia

Kyrgyz political analyst and governance expert Sheradil Baktygulov has said that Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are at the forefront of transformative processes unfolding in the South Caucasus and Central Asia.

Baktygulov noted that Azerbaijan’s accession to the C5 framework - now expanded to C6 - has strengthened the spirit of regional and interregional cooperation, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

A New Chapter for C6

“Today, C6 opens a new chapter for our regions and for our joint movement toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals,” he stated.

Baktygulov emphasized that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) can serve not only as a political framework but also as a strategic tool for advancing cooperation within the C6 mechanism.

He suggested that aligning regional initiatives with global development priorities would enhance coordination, promote sustainable growth, and solidify C6 as a forward-looking platform for integration.
