An Israeli drone manufacturer has secured a new foothold in Central Asia after Aero-Sentinel confirmed an exclusive distribution agreement in Kazakhstan, expanding its access to one of the region’s most established security and defense markets, The Caspian Post informs, via Defence Blog.

The announcement was made on Sunday by Ofir Avram, chief marketing officer at Aero-Sentinel, who said the company had finalized a partnership with German firm 2LNK GmbH to distribute its operational drone platforms in Kazakhstan. According to Avram, the agreement reflects growing demand in the country for mission-ready systems with verified field performance.

As noted by Aero-Sentinel, 2LNK GmbH brings long-standing local relationships and operational knowledge of the Kazakh defense and security sector, providing direct access to end users and government customers. The partnership is led locally by Kody Linshitz, with the companies describing the arrangement as built on trust and established presence rather than market entry through intermediaries.

Kazakhstan’s defense and security market has steadily expanded in recent years as the country modernizes border surveillance, counterterrorism capabilities, and infrastructure protection systems across its vast territory. Industry officials describe the market as structured, with clear technical requirements and a preference for systems that have already demonstrated operational reliability.

Under the agreement, Aero-Sentinel will offer its G2 and G3 drone platforms, which are designed for covert intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. The systems are characterized by low acoustic signatures, allowing them to operate at close range with reduced detection risk, a capability that has driven interest from special operations and internal security units in multiple regions.

Aero-Sentinel has not disclosed contract volumes or timelines for deliveries in Kazakhstan, but company representatives said the partnership forms part of a broader strategy to expand exclusive distribution networks in selected markets where long-term demand is expected to remain stable.

The company’s drones are marketed as short- and medium-range platforms optimized for tactical operations, border monitoring, and sensitive reconnaissance tasks. Their design prioritizes low noise, compact logistics, and rapid deployment, features that appeal to agencies operating in urban environments and remote terrain alike.

While Aero-Sentinel has not officially confirmed operational use by foreign services, multiple open-source defense sources have previously linked its platforms to Israeli special operations activity. Several reports last year suggested that drones with similar acoustic and flight characteristics were used during covert missions conducted inside Iran.

For Kazakhstan, the agreement provides access to a new class of low-observable drones without the need for direct development programs, reducing acquisition timelines for specialized capabilities. For Aero-Sentinel, the deal establishes a local channel in a region that bridges Eastern Europe, Russia, and Asia, where demand for surveillance systems continues to grow.
