Azerbaijan successfully took part in the international trade fair and festival 'Jazzahead!' in Bremen, Germany, one of the key events in the global jazz industry. The participation was supported by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and co-organized by the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Berlin along with the Baku Jazz Festival.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the ‘Jazzahead!’ brought together more than 3,000 professionals, including musicians, agents, and media representatives, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.
As part of the festival, more than 160 concerts and other events were organized across 45 different venues in Bremen, filling the city with a genuine jazz atmosphere.
Azerbaijan’s national stand at the festival showcased the creativity of Azerbaijani jazz musicians to an international audience.
The event also included meetings to promote the Baku International Jazz Festival, as well as the establishment of connections with foreign jazz performers and industry representatives and the exchange of mutual invitations to jazz festivals.
On the final day of the festival, the concert program featuring the performances of Azerbaijan’s Honored Artist and renowned jazz master Rain Sultanov, along with other musicians, was received with great interest.
