The opening ceremony of an exhibition called "The Elegance of Colors," showcasing the works of Azerbaijani women artists, was held at the Congress Center of Istanbul's Bahçeşehir University (BAU).

The exhibition was organized as part of the project by the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Türkiye, with the support of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts and the Union of Azerbaijan Artists, The Caspian Post reports, citing .AZERTAC

The opening ceremony was attended by Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Culture Murad Huseynov, Rector of BAU Professor Esra Hatipoğlu, Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center Samir Abbasov, Counselor of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Türkiye Fuzuli Majidli, the university staff and students, as well as representatives of the public, and art enthusiasts.

Speaking at the event, Rector Esra Hatipoğlu highlighted the historical ties of friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, noting that the event is the first exhibition organized at the new building of Bahçeşehir University.

In his remarks, Samir Abbasov, Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center, emphasized that Azerbaijani fine arts have an ancient and rich history and traditions.

Then, the participants viewed the exhibition showcasing artworks by contemporary Azerbaijani female artists Boyukkhanim Zeynalova, Irina Eldarova, Aytan Rzaguliyeva, Yelena Allahverdiyeva, Leyla Isayeva, Milena Nabiyeva, Safura Abdullayeva, Aydan Nabizada, Sayali Mammadova - Garayeva, Aynura Mahmudova, Inna Kostina, Veronika Shamsiyeva, Nadezhda Ibrahimova, Nigar Mammadova, Raida Mustafayeva, Ulviyya Hamzayeva, Naila Ahmadova, Jamila Hashimova, Elnara Misirli, Mahsati Ibrahimova, Esmira Heydarova, Kamilla Eldarova, Fagana Aliyeva, Lala Abdullayeva, Leyla Azimbayova, Sabina Tutayuk and Aygun Mustafayeva on themes such as the Motherland, Azerbaijani culture, nature, feminine beauty, love and etc.
