From 21 to 24 April 2025, Azerbaijan Culture Days will be held in Kyrgyzstan.
The events are organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan jointly with the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and the Embassy of this country in the Kyrgyz Republic, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kabar.
According to the information of the ministry, the program includes exhibitions, concerts, literary presentations and master classes held in leading cultural institutions of Bishkek. As part of the events, an evening of symphonic music dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the outstanding Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli will be held. He is considered the founder of Azerbaijani classical music and the author of the first opera in the Islamic world, Leyli and Majnun (1908), as well as the composer of the national anthem of Azerbaijan.
