A literary and musical evening dedicated to the renowned Azerbaijani poet Khurshidbanu Natavan was hosted by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Paris.
Azerbaijan's Ambassador to France, Leyla Abdullayeva, opened the event by emphasizing Natavan's prominent role in Azerbaijani literature and national memory. She also recalled French writer Alexandre Dumas' journey to the Caucasus in 1858, during which he expressed deep admiration for the cultural richness of Karabakh, The Caspian Post reports citing Report.
The evening featured recitations of Natavan's poetry in both Azerbaijani and French. The musical part of the event featured performances by renowned musicians: kamancha virtuoso Elshan Mansurov and tar player Elchin Naghiyev.
The event brought together French journalists, scholars, and members of the cultural community, highlighting the enduring legacy of Khurshidbanu Natavan and strengthening cultural ties between Azerbaijan and France.
