Oleg Skuridin, Chairman of the Board of the Polish Cultural Center of Uzbekistan "Świetlica Polska":

- At the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, an Ethnic Village was opened, an architectural complex in which each cultural center presented its traditional building. The idea is non-standard, but in my opinion, it is very symbolic. This is a vivid expression of state support for interethnic peace.

Our country is really rich in natural resources and intellectual potential, but the main wealth is people. The peoples who live and work together here.

We, the Poles of Uzbekistan, feel like an integral part of this society. We try to make a contribution: we preserve traditions, work with young people, and promote Polish culture.

In addition, we actively keep in touch with our compatriots abroad. For example, the Union of Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan was established in Warsaw with the support of the Embassy, and it is successfully operating.
