Google has officially launched a Kazakh-language version of its Gemini artificial intelligence model, according to Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development.
The ministry said the move is part of Google’s ongoing effort to expand language support for its advanced AI products, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.
Kazakh is among 23 new languages introduced with the rollout of Gemini 3, which Google describes as its most capable model to date.
With this update, users in Kazakhstan can now access Gemini’s full range of features in their native language, with functionality on par with that available in widely spoken global languages.
The Kazakh-language interface is currently available through Gemini’s web version. Users must select Kazakh as their preferred language in their Google account settings to enable it. The ministry said support for Android and iOS versions is planned, along with the future launch of the Gemini Live service.
Google Gemini is a family of large language models developed by Google. The system is designed to handle multiple types of input, including text, images, code and structured data, giving it multimodal capabilities.
