Global Markets See Sharp Rise in Oil Prices

Oil prices maintained their upward momentum in global markets.

On the London Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Brent crude climbed by $2.11, reaching $67.96 per barrel, The Caspian Post reports.

At the same time, Light crude on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) rose by $2.21 to settle at $64.68 per barrel.
