Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan Set Goal to Increase Trade to $500 Million by 2030

Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan aim to increase their trade turnover to 500 million US dollars by 2030,

This goal was announced following a meeting between Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan, and Kokhir Rasulzoda, Prime Minister of Tajikistan, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

During the constructive dialogue, the parties discussed in detail a wide range of topical issues of bilateral cooperation, paying special attention to the prospects for the development of trade and economic ties.

The Kyrgyz side confirmed its readiness to act as an effective link for the supply of Tajik products to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) market and expressed interest in studying Tajik experience in the field of processing agricultural products.
