Türkiye’s high-tech manufacturing production value surpassed 1 trillion Turkish lira ($28 billion) in 2025, with 479,164 enterprises operating in the sector, according to data from the country’s statistical bureau TurkStat.
The data showed that 60,161 of these enterprises were classified as medium-high tech, while 4,070 were categorized as high-tech enterprises, The Caspian Post reports, citing Anadolu Agency.
The production value of these enterprises exceeded 1 trillion Turkish lira for the first time, while the firms’ revenues also surpassed the same threshold in 2025.
The number of high-tech enterprises in Türkiye’s manufacturing sector increased significantly over the past five years, rising from 2,892 in 2021 to 4,070 in 2025, representing a 40 percent increase.
The number of workers employed by these companies also grew during the same period, from 119,326 to 142,779, according to the data.
The average US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate in 2025 was 35.5.
