During his visit to Dushanbe, Uzbek Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with the Director of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the Tajik President, Khurshed Mirzo.
At the meeting, the agency head provided detailed information on measures being implemented in the country to develop the digital economy, transfer public services to electronic format, create data exchange systems, and ensure information security, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
In addition, presentations of digital solutions, platforms, and innovative programs developed by Tajikistan, as well as their practical results, were organized.
During the talks, prospects for expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in digitalization, implementing joint projects, and harmonizing the digital ecosystems of the two countries were discussed.
In particular, proposals were put forward to strengthen the integration of information systems of government agencies, the exchange of customs data in digital format, as well as the introduction of a system for the prompt and secure transmission of information.
