The Board of Directors of Gazprom is set to discuss prospects for expanding gas exports to countries in the Asia-Pacific region at a meeting scheduled for February 24, the Russian energy giant said.
According to the published agenda, one of the key topics will focus on opportunities for developing gas supplies to Asia-Pacific markets, The Caspian Post reports, citing Russian media.
In addition to export strategy, board members will review issues related to the expansion of the company’s mineral and feedstock base, as well as future prospects for gas production within Russia.
The meeting will also address measures aimed at increasing the use of Russian-made equipment and technologies in the operations of the Gazprom group.
