A body believed to be that of a Russian female tourist has been discovered near a glacier in Georgia.

Officials did not confirm or deny reports by local media that the woman was a Russian citizen, according to TASS.

Police officers are expected to establish the woman’s identity and the circumstances surrounding her death as the investigation continues.
