Georgia Breaks Aviation Records

The number of international and domestic flights at Georgia's airports in the first eight months of 2025 has reached a record high, totaling more than 24,000.

According to the Civil Aviation Agency, the number of passenger and cargo flights from January to August 2025 totaled 24,915, which is a 15% increase compared to the same period in 2024, The Caspian Post reports citing Georgian media.

Georgia has three international airports: in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Batumi. Currently, flights from all three international airports are operated with a frequency of around 700 flights per week.

In the first eight months of 2025, 5,635,975 passengers used Georgia’s airports, marking a 14% increase over the number of passengers handled during the same period in 2024.
