The Patriarch of Georgia, Ilia II, warmly received the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, in a cordial meeting held to celebrate the Patriarch’s birthday.

The President paid a visit to Patriarch Ilia II as the Primate of the Georgian Orthodox Church marks his 93rd birthday today, The Caspian Post reports, citing foreign media.

During the visit, President Kavelashvili conveyed his warm congratulations and best wishes to the Patriarch, honoring his long-standing spiritual leadership and contribution to the life of the Church and the nation.
