Georgia's Tourism Revenue Reaches $4.6 Billion in 2025

Galt & Taggart’s analytical report reveals that Georgia’s tourism industry continued to grow in 2025, generating $4.6 billion in revenue, reflecting a 4.9% increase compared to the previous year.

Data published in the investment bank’s latest weekly market update shows strong momentum toward the end of the year. In December 2025 alone, tourism revenues reached $280 million, a 5.3% year-on-year rise, The Caspian Post reports, citing foreign media.

Looking ahead, Galt & Taggart projects that tourism income will grow further in 2026, with total revenues forecast to reach approximately $4.9 billion.

The report also evaluates potential risks from regional developments, including the situation in Iran. Iranian visitors accounted for 2.7% of Georgia’s total tourism revenue between January and September 2025. Given this relatively small share, the analysts conclude that even prolonged instability in Iran would likely have only a limited impact on Georgia’s overall tourism performance.
