Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has addressed the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, calling for international conflicts to be resolved through dialogue and mutual respect.

Kobakhidze said lasting peace cannot be achieved through force and must instead be based on mutual understanding and respect, according to Sputnik Georgia.

He added that Georgia, despite facing repeated challenges, continues to determine its own path.

The prime minister also announced that Georgia plans to invest $7 billion in major infrastructure projects by 2032.

The planned projects include the modernization of the railway network, construction of highways and the deep-sea port of Anaklia, a new international airport in Tbilisi, and the installation of a submarine fiber-optic cable along the Black Sea seabed.

Kobakhidze stressed that Georgia remains open to cooperation with all international partners based on mutual respect and sovereign equality.

The prime minister said that lasting partnerships are built through dialogue rather than pressure or coercion.
