Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists that the Russian Federation is the only state responsible for occupying Georgian territories, describing this as an undisputed fact.
According to the Head of Government, the Russian Federation occupied 20 per cent of Georgia’s territory, which constituted a crime against the Georgian state, Georgia’s First Channel reported.
“As far as the occupation is concerned, everything is crystal clear. Countless statements have been made on this, and it requires no further questioning. Of course, the Russian Federation carried out the occupation of 20 per cent of Georgian territory, which was a crime against the Georgian state and our people; it is a blatantly obvious crime committed against the Georgian state and the Georgian people. First came the occupation, and after that was the so-called recognition,” declared Irakli Kobakhidze.
