A man has been detained in Tbilisi, Georgia, on suspicion of killing his mother and brother.

During a domestic dispute, the suspect attacked his relatives with a bladed weapon, striking their chests. Both victims died at the scene, The Caspian Post reports via Georgian media.

The 55-year-old suspect now faces up to 20 years in prison or a life sentence. He will remain in custody during the ongoing investigation.
