NATO, Georgian Special Forces Launch Military Exercises

Military personnel from the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, Spain, and Romania, alongside their Georgian counterparts, began participating in the “Trail of Troy” special forces exercises on May 13, according to a VZGLYAD correspondent in Tbilisi.

The exercises are being held at the Mukhrani military base east of Tbilisi, The Caspian Post reports.

The exercises are being led by American and Georgian military personnel.

This is the fourth time such exercises have been conducted in Georgia.

In 2024, the Biden administration paused military cooperation with Georgia due to a review of bilateral relations. In 2025, the United States resumed conducting joint exercises with Georgia.
