SOCAR Imports 5,000 Tons of Gasoline From Italy to Georgia

SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), has imported 5,000 tons of gasoline from Italy to Georgia in a move marking a new stage in the companies’ commercial cooperation.

The first shipment of fuel was delivered to Georgia aboard a SOCAR-operated vessel, according to Report.

The shipment represents the first direct commercial transaction between SOCAR Georgia Petroleum and Italiana Petroli, an Italian energy company in which SOCAR acquired more than 99% of the shares in September 2025.
