At least 104 sailors were killed in a US attack on an Iranian warship, The Caspian Post reports, citing Iranian army press service.

According to reports, the attack by a US submarine on the Iranian warship IRIS Dena resulted in the death of at least 104 sailors, with another 20 missing.

According to Iranian state television, there were 136 crew members on board the ship.

The ship was reportedly hit while returning from military exercises.

It should be noted that several days ago, US Defense Secretary Pete Heget reported that an American submarine attacked an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean.
