The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has stated that the Iranian Armed Forces dispatched four attack drones toward Nakhchivan, targeting civilian infrastructure, including a secondary school.

Azerbaijani forces disabled one of the drones, while another aimed at a school exploded near the building without causing casualties. The ministry emphasized that Iran’s claims respecting the sovereignty of neighboring countries do not justify the attacks, The Caspian Post reports via the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

The ministry demanded that Iranian forces stop denying the incident, issue an apology, and punish those responsible.
