The US negotiating team shows a significant shift from the past, with the US President’s son-in-law and the CENTCOM chief now taking part in the discussions, The Caspian Post reports, citing Iranian media.

On Friday, Iranian and US delegations began talks in the Omani capital of Muscat.

The Iranian delegation is headed by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, while the US delegation is led by US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, with Oman acting as mediator, The Caspian Post reports, citing Iranian media.
