At least 10 people have died in Iran as protests continue over the country’s struggling economy, according to authorities.

The demonstrations have now spread to more than 100 locations across 22 provinces, making it the largest wave of unrest since 2022, The Caspian Post reports, citing foreign media.

The latest deaths include a man killed by a grenade in Qom and a member of the paramilitary Basij in Harsin, underscoring the rising violence, The Caspian Post reports, citing foreign media.

The unrest follows warnings from U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the safety of protesters, which Tehran condemned, further escalating tensions.
