Iran says it launched a new wave of attacks targeting Israeli cities and US military assets across the region as part of its ongoing “Operation True Promise 4.”

A representative of the central command of Iran’s Armed Forces, Khatam al-Anbiya, said the strikes took place on March 13 and targeted Tel Aviv, Haifa, Eilat and other locations in Israel, as well as US military facilities in Bahrain, Jordan and Iraq, The Caspian Post reports, citing TASS.

According to the statement, the 43rd phase of the operation focused on the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet, regional bases of what Iran described as the “US terrorist army,” as well as areas in central Tel Aviv, northern Israeli territories and Eilat.

The official said the Muwaffaq Salti airbase in Jordan, along with US bases in Manama and Erbil, were hit by what he described as “powerful missile and drone attacks” carried out by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Iran claimed the large-scale operation involved a significant number of high-precision and heavy missiles, including Khorramshahr, Kheibarshekan, Fattah, Emad and Qadr systems, as well as attack drones.

The statement also alleged that targets in northern Israel - including Kiryat Shmona, Hadera and Haifa - were struck in the pre-dawn hours.

In addition, the official claimed that the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln was attacked by the IRGC Navy and was no longer operational, saying the vessel was returning to its point of origin.
