Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that his ministry is currently pursuing two key missions, the foremost being the effort to lift international sanctions.

Speaking at a meeting on the country’s foreign policies and regional situation, Araghchi highlighted that many measures have been taken in this regard, including the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and other negotiations, The Caspian Post reports, citing Iranian media.

He emphasized that these efforts will continue while upholding the principles and dignity of Iran. The second mission of the Foreign Ministry under the current circumstances, he said, is to support improvements in the Iranian economy.

Araghchi also reflected on the heroic resistance of the Iranian people during the 12-day war, calling it a historic experience.

He noted that the enemies, who had hoped to force Iran’s surrender in just a few days, were ultimately compelled to surrender themselves.
