Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is in good health and is expected to appear publicly soon, the country’s Foreign Ministry has confirmed.

“There is a lot of speculation, but I assure you he is fine,” the Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baghaei said, The Caspian Post reports, citing Egyptian outlet Al-Masry al-Youm.

He added that delays in public appearances are not unusual given the current military situation.

The spokesman also stressed that despite ongoing tensions, “the governance of the state and the organization of its defence are being carried out effectively.”
