Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to meet with a Qatari mediator in New York later Monday to discuss the latest developments regarding the exchange of messages between Tehran and Washington, an informed source said.

A source close to the Iranian negotiating team in New York said that Araghchi, who is in the city to attend the annual UN General Assembly, will hold the meeting later in the day, The Caspian Post reports, citing IRNA.

The meeting is expected to focus on the latest developments concerning the exchange of messages between Iran and the United States.

Iran conveyed its views and conditions to the US side through Qatari mediation last Tuesday.
