Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Saint Petersburg for a series of high-level talks expected to include a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Araghchi landed early morning, with discussions reportedly focused on strengthening bilateral ties and addressing ongoing regional tensions, The Caspian Post reports via Iranian media.

The Russian state news agency TASS confirmed that a meeting between Araghchi and Putin is planned, citing Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
