Iran summoned German Ambassador to Tehran Axel Dittmann to the Foreign Ministry on Monday in response to what it described as repeated, baseless accusations by German officials against the country.
The ambassador was summoned by Alireza Yousefi, Assistant to the Minister and Director-General for Western Europe, The Caspian Post reports, citing IRNA.
During the meeting, Iran’s strong protest was conveyed over what it described as the contemptuous approach adopted by certain German officials toward the Islamic Republic.
Yousefi emphasized that making security-related accusations has long been a tactic used by the “Zionist regime” and certain Western countries against Iran.
