Mohammad Akraminia, spokesman for the Iranian Army, has said that Iran officially suspended its military operations in the region after the United States stopped its attacks.

Akraminia said Tehran's actions throughout the conflict have been guided by the principle of "reciprocity," stressing that any change in the situation on the ground would be met with a proportionate response from Iran, The Caspian Post reports via ANF News.

He also argued that Washington has reached a point where its "ability to make strategic decisions has been exhausted." Akraminia said that the lack of a coherent US policy is reflected both in the decisions of the American president and in the operations of US Central Command.

The spokesman added that Tehran is closely monitoring developments and warned that any shift in US actions would be taken into account in determining Iran's future response.
