Iran will regard all companies owned by Elon Musk operating in the Middle East, including SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service, as military targets as it responds to the United States, The Caspian Post informs, citing Fars news agency.

According to the report, Iran is targeting “all interests related to economic holdings managed by Elon Musk in West Asia,” including a Starlink ground station located in the region.

The report claims that Starlink has played a significant role in U.S. military operations against Iran, providing support for advanced military systems ranging from aerial attack drones to unmanned surveillance and strike vessels.

Fars, citing what it described as an “informed source,” reported that Iran believes the United States has committed war crimes against the country with the assistance of companies linked to Musk.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the right to attack all facilities related to [Musk]-managed holdings in the region and occupied territories,” the source was quoted as saying.

The report also noted that Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has previously issued threats against several major U.S. technology companies, including Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft and Google.
