SpaceX has officially launched its Starlink satellite internet service in Kyrgyzstan, marking a major step toward expanding high-speed connectivity across remote and mountainous regions of the country.
The launch was confirmed after Kyrgyzstan appeared on Starlink’s official coverage map. The company has also introduced a dedicated local webpage in both Kyrgyz and Russian, offering information about available services and network access, The Caspian Post reports via Kabar.
Starlink is a global satellite internet network developed by SpaceX, the aerospace company founded by Elon Musk. The project aims to provide fast and stable internet access to areas where traditional infrastructure is limited or unavailable.
The rollout in Kyrgyzstan follows the recent official launch of Starlink services in neighboring Tajikistan, signaling the company’s growing presence across Central Asia.
