Simultaneously with evacuation warnings issued by the Israeli military for residents of Beirut’s southern suburbs, the commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned residents of northern Israel to leave the area to avoid harm if Israel follows through on its threats against Lebanon.

Ali Abdollahi, commander of the Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarters, said Benjamin Netanyahu, “in continuation of his wickedness in the region,” has threatened to bomb Dahiyeh and Beirut and has issued evacuation warnings for residents of these areas, The Caspian Post reports, citing Iranwire.

He added: “Given Israel’s repeated violations of the ceasefire, should this threat be put into action, we warn residents of the northern sectors and military settlements in the occupied territories to leave the region if they do not wish to be harmed.”

This warning comes as the Israeli military released a message on social media on Monday, calling on residents of certain areas in Dahiyeh, the southern suburbs of Beirut, to evacuate their homes and warning that it will expand the scope of its military operations if Hezbollah’s rocket attacks continue.

In recent days, Israel’s attacks on Lebanon have become a key point of tension between Tehran and Washington. Officials of the Islamic Republic have repeatedly said that the ceasefire between Iran and the United States must include all fronts, particularly Lebanon, and they view attacks on the country as a violation of the ceasefire accord.

Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, had previously said that the ceasefire between Iran and the US is “a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon,” and that its violation on any front amounts to a complete breach of the agreement. Esmaeil Baghaei, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, also described a ceasefire in Lebanon as “an inseparable part of any final agreement.”

Tasnim News Agency had also previously reported that the Islamic Republic, in protest against the continuation of Israeli attacks on Lebanon, will halt the process of message exchanges and indirect talks with the United States through mediators.

At the same time, an account attributed to the IRGC Intelligence Organization warned in a message: “He who sows the wind reaps the whirlwind.” The message said Iran considers crossing “red lines” in Lebanon and Gaza as tantamount to direct war and the imposition of costs on its own national security and the “Islamic Resistance.”

According to the message, in the event of an escalation of conflicts, the Islamic Republic will place the opening of new fronts and maintaining the “Strait of Hormuz equation” on its agenda.
