The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran’s armed forces have vowed to respond to the latest US attacks on Iran.

Sardar Mohebi, spokesperson for the IRGC, said that the United States would regret its latest strikes and face “severe punishment,” The Caspian Post reports, citing Al Jazeera.

“America will regret its new attacks,” Mohebi wrote in the brief statement.

Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and the Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters issued a statement carried by Iranian state broadcaster IRIB, saying the Iranian military would deliver “crushing and fragile blows” to the United States.

The statement warned that the more the US military continues what it described as hostile actions in the region, the heavier losses it would suffer.
