Jordanian Air Force aircraft have shot down two Iranian drones that were reportedly targeting sites inside the kingdom.
The drones were intercepted before causing any material damage, while no casualties have been reported, The Caspian Post reports via Petra news agency.
The latest incident adds to growing regional concerns over drone activity in the Middle East.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also announced that two unmanned aerial vehicles had been intercepted near the border with Jordan.
