A group of students has held a protest at Sharif University in Tehran, Iran, drawing attention to political and social issues.

Social media footage shows students chanting slogans such as “Freedom, freedom, freedom!” alongside other politically charged messages, The Caspian Post reports via Iranian media.

Members of the semi-military Basij entered the campus during the protest and used force against participants.
