Turkish Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler has had a phone talk with Iranian Minister of Defense Aziz Nasirzadeh, focusing on regional security dynamics and defense cooperation.

The two officials exchanged views on pressing regional defense and security issues, underscoring the importance of maintaining stability in the broader region, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.

The ministers also discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation in the defense sector, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening military and strategic ties between Türkiye and Iran.
