Deputy Governor of Iran's southern Kerman Province Rahman Jalali has said that two people were injured after a US airstrike struck a communications tower in Kerman Province.
The communications tower, located in a mountainous area in the southern part of the province, was hit during the attack, The Caspian Post reports via Mehr News Agency.
"During this attack, a communications tower located in the mountainous area in the south of Kerman Province was struck. As a result, two people were injured. After emergency services arrived, the wounded were airlifted by helicopter to medical facilities, where they are receiving treatment," Jalali was quoted as saying.
