Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that a business mission is planned to be dispatched to Kazakhstan to explore new opportunities for expanding economic cooperation.
Pashinyan highlighted that relations between Yerevan and Astana have reached the level of a strategic partnership, noting that this progress has taken on a very concrete and somewhat unexpected form, The Caspian Post informs via Armenian media.
He emphasized that Armenia’s newly established railway connection with Kazakhstan - via Azerbaijan - opens additional avenues for economic collaboration.
This milestone follows a recent development on November 8, when Armenia received its first shipment of wheat from Kazakhstan transported through Azerbaijan. The 15-car train, carrying 1,000 tons of wheat, traveled through Russia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia before reaching Armenia.
